Pros

What stands out the most is how much the company truly cares about its people. There’s a real focus on helping colleagues grow—whether that’s through internal mobility, leadership development, or just having leaders who actually listen and support you. The culture is collaborative and mission-driven. You feel like the work you do matters, and that’s incredibly motivating. I’ve also appreciated the flexibility—being able to balance work and life without guilt is a big deal, and Sedgwick gets that.

Cons

Like any large organization, Sedgwick is evolving. Some systems and processes are being modernized, and that can take time. But the company is actively investing in technology upgrades and operational improvements, which shows a clear commitment to progress.

Pros

Steady hours and 100% remote work

Cons

Do not expect to advance if you are not extremely friendly and close with management and/or related to someone already in an advanced position. More than half of the employees who are promoted out of the entry level role are directly related to someone who has already been promoted or in management. It will not stop them from dangling the carrot and if you opt in to try and show you are promotion material by volunteering to be trained in a portion of the responsibilities that the next role you are hoping to get, if you do not perform those tasks at ANY point in which you have even several minutes of nothing actively needing to be worked on, you will be given documented corrective action even though they are not paying you to perform that role. There is also an elephant in the room that none of management seems to want to address. There are several members of admin and middle management that speak to everyone in an extremely rude and condescending manner. Although I am aware this has been brought to nearly all of managements attention, the generic answer that is given is, "they are just like that because they were passed up for promotions for a long time". How that is an acceptable excuse for speaking down to and being condescending to lower level employees is beyond me.
