Pros

Good amount of PTO, decent health benefits and ability to work from home on some accounts.

Cons

This company will take advantage of your exempt status regarding overtime work hours to the point of being unethical and downright criminal. They don’t care if you work 12-14 hours days until the point of burnout or mental breakdown. Employees have become numbers on a spreadsheet. There is absolutely NO work life balance. Do not work here! This company was once a great place to work. Not anymore!

Pros

Self fulfillment. I worked as a claim associate and was shocked by the unethical/unlawful behavior by upper and some lower management. I was able to display my phenomenal claim investigative skills by presenting evidence to a state while corporate legal was unable to dispute my evidence of fraud. Upper and some lower management were terminated and a hefty fine was placed against Corporate. Funny a co-worker said she, nor I or anyone else in the office could take down management because corporate attorneys would squash a whistle blower. Yeah she was a level 3 adj while i was a level 1 examiner. I didnt fit in so i left after the judgement was entered.

Cons

Everything but a few endearing co-workers

Pros

Paid days off Generous paid bereavement days No late hours No weekends

Cons

Sedgwick is a claim management service company. Meaning they get paid by other companies, some of which are large corporations, to manage their employees time away from work. Sedgwick can't even manage their own employees time away from work. They do not care about their employees and they definitely do not care about their employees family. They have absolutely no paid or unpaid leaves to care for your sick children or spouse if you're not eligible for FMLA. Even when an employees doctor does everything they are asked, including filling out multiple sets of paperwork and sending office visit notes, the employee's claims are still denied.
