Pros

There is absolutely nothing good to say about this company.

Cons

If you like to be micromanaged and overworked for little pay then this is the place for you. The atmosphere is not a place for someone who enjoys the occasional talk or the occasional step away from your desk for a minute, because if you did then you best believe you'd get a write up. The atmosphere eludes the taste of dead SILENCE, with a twist of absolute misery. Aside from the silence and misery... breaks and time away from your desk is strictly monitored, take an extra minute or 2, and expect to be called into the supervisor's office. Reports... don't even get my started... make one simple mistake = a write up for you. Another thing, being 1-5 minutes past your "set" start time brings you to yet again another write up. All in all, AVOID working here at all costs, unless a cooperate toxic environment is what you want, then becoming an employee at Sedgwick is your place. Happy job-hunting to you, because staying here for more then a year would be an absolute joke.

Pros

I wish I could find a pro.

Cons

Benefits are expensive and high deductibles. I dont see how employees can afford it especially if you have kids. I worked for a very small company and their benefits were much better. With so many employees now you would think the benefits would be better. Goes to show how much the employees mean to upper management nothing .

Pros

Great work life balance before York was acquired by Sedgwick. Many great former York Managers/Executives. Unfortunately many have been let go with the acquisition.

Cons

CEO promised former York employees no need to lay off and will merge over. This statement was not true. Many are being laid off and the moral with former York employees has dropped down. Sedgwick has many old fashioned ways verse new and innovative ways York implemented. Seems “The Good Ole Boys” are running the company.
