Could be better

Pros

Good pay, ethical rehab treatment, laptop for each staff member

Cons

Poor staff education, productivity with group/concurrent changes are out of the norm, staffing protocols are terrible - can’t hire new staff unless everyone else is at a certain productivity and doing a certain group/concurrent percentage - this is hard to reach for every staff member when the director has no control over who is hired at the facility level anymore, leading to teammates who aren’t good quality. Select protects the client relationship over staff concerns of the client in order to preserve their contracts. They merged with RehabCare, but the two side of the company aren’t truly unified and follow different leadership and rules/policies/equipment use.

Should you work for Select?

Pros

Still looking for the pros. I guess a paycheck.

Cons

Select does not care for their employees. This company is focused on making money and expansion. In my opinion, they consider therapists as an expendable commodity. Hopefully that will change, it hasn't yet. Honestly, I do not recommend working for Select. As reimbursement rates have decreased for therapy services, so has the company's focus on their employees.
