      IT team is supportive culture

      Pros

      Working within the IT team at SelectQuote I found the broader team to be supportive.

      Cons

      As an extension of the IT team into the marketing department there were times when the IT and Marketing teams offered different approaches and the IT team would always bend to the Marketing team.

      Worked 2 years at the company and was let go with a group of 30 people on a zoom meeting. You get hourly and commission however the commission is not worth it. Felt uncomfortable helping people who did not want to enroll. Very pushy. Not always looking for the customers best interest.

      Pros

      Work from home is a pro BUT you have to be hardwired into your modem.

      Cons

      The team leads are NOT equal. Some supervisors give better training than others. I have a friend on another team who feeds me A LOT of info from her supervisor that my team doesn't get. Training is a JOKE. All the fake positivity is abysmal. Lots of SDAs are on a text chat (not on company software) so we can keep track of all the differences between the SDA teams. Pretty discriminatory if you ask me. This company HARASSES the public constantly calling the same people over and over and over and over and over again.
