      -You gain high-volume phone sales experience (6–8 hours/day). -Exposure to working under strict performance metrics. -Opportunity to learn rapid lead handling and quota-driven sales tactics.

      Cons

      -Extremely poor work-life balance; little to no breaks. -No residual commissions. -Overwhelming workload with unrealistic performance metrics. -Low pay per policy (~$15) compared to industry standards ($100–$150). -Questionable customer acquisition methods. -Pressure can lead to selling clients the wrong policy just to hit numbers. -Company focus shifted toward shareholders after going public. -Employees are treated as “just a number” rather than valued contributors.

      Pros

      I love working at SelectQuote. The best part is its a remote position. I love my managers and my coworkers. I'll say this if your reading the negative reviews and questioning whether you should work at SelectQuote take the offer. You will not regret it!! From onboarding to transitioning to your team it was nothing but support. Im so glad I didnt consider the negative reviews I read prior to joining and just decided to take the offer. I gave birth to my child a couple months after getting the job offer. they have accommodated me with no problems. My maternity leave and return went so smoothly. It's a wonderful company they truly care about their employees. Also the commision is awesome.

      Cons

      I don't have any cons to be honest. Cons are what you make of them. You can see it as a problem or you can see it as an opportunity to turn things around. Sometimes you get leads that may not want to be helped but if you stay positive you will always find someone that truly needs your help.

      Opportunities for advancement, great leadership, good management is promoted.

      Cons

      I believe those who might complain about a remote atmosphere likely just lack the ability to interact in virtual environments. There are plenty of meetings and groups for socializing if anyone wishes to join them.
