Pros

Mostly inbounds. Great carrier options. Work/Life ballance

Cons

Any previous ratings should mean nothing because we now have new managements. I Been here for about three years. I have been one of the top sales agents for a long time. I still am as a matter of fact. I am only posting this because i see other agents in big financial stress due to the new management in charge. Management changes comp plan constantly so they can reach their personal goals. A lot of agents income gets affected drastically for a couple months, then they come in and adjust the comp. Then it starts again. I can't even live in my own home right now because i need to rent it out to make rent. Please do not think of working here until they hire new management team that is more ethical and actually cares about the lives of others. There is no advise to give to those who know exactly what they are doing. I hope you get sued bad one day! I will post this on every single website possible. Others will too.

Pros

They have a 401(k) they offer benefits hours are fairly flexible with the brakes and lunches. Business casual dress. My coworkers were very nice

Cons

Their CRM program is outdated and difficult to manage. The two managers in San Diego were in a world of their own. The gentleman dedicates 80%of his time to one sales agent and the lady was always on her phone, late or gave little to no feed back. I had my time card changed several times without my knowledge. Lunches were placed on my time card when I took no lunch. The leads were purchase from 3to4 different internet sources so it was saturated with 'bad leads'. We were told there were no bad leads but when it came down to it monthly meetings shoulders that in fact they had a way to get top-tier leads to talk to your agents and low leads to low agents making it difficult to make more money. It's a good company they just have very little structure, The managers are really just sales people that can't manage but have that title. You're supposed to give the client the best rate but many times people with cherry pick the second or third best company to get a higher commission rate. If progressive gave the best rate you were told to try another company. You were told you had 16 to 20 companies to work with but really it was only six or seven but it sounds good to the clients if your name off some big companies. Every other week we're celebrating hitting a new goal but it's because they keep hiring more and more people. There is no work life balance

Pros

Occasional lunch. Bagel thursdays, descent health benefits and awesome co-workers.

Cons

Too much to list! The Micromanagent is unbareable. Mangement is incompetent and use a bully type of style. They embarrass and taunt employees that make a mistake on a call in front of the entire team at meetings. The prices are not competive, most callers don't qualify bcuz they only want preffered risks. Poor training. Goals and comission change frequently They expect you to put in a 50-60 hr work week
