Pros

Work hard, play hard is the name of the game. SelectQuote gives you every opportunity to succeed and listens to employees! They are very conscious what employees need and want and strive to make the office a great place to work.

Cons

Small company that has grown fast, has led to some salary issues but they are working towards making this a competitive place to work. Hoping they instill more employee benefits such as a more competitive 401k and better salary plans for non- agents who have no commission structure.

Location is close to public transportation

Cons

Some managers are just plain mean. They put you down. The best leads are only given to the top performers. Way too many coaching meetings with your mean manager which take time away from the phones. They micro manage you to death like "why are you 5 minutes late coming back from break? Geez, sorry I wasn't feeling well and had to relieve myself in the bathroom longer." Constant changes on a weekly basis. Changes in sales rules and changes in calculating commission/compensation. Most people don't know what their next paycheck will be. Managers threaten to fire you but they don't because they don't want you to get unemployment. They want to make you miserable so you quit.

If you are absolutely desperate and your children are starving. And you are mentally strong enough to endure mental and even some cases of physical assault on the jobsite

Cons

Women have faced discrimination, pregnant women have been fired, cerebral palsy victim was terminated, cancer patient fired by phone and had her ground plug broke off her computer causing her to be shocked
