      Micro managed to the exreme

      Pros

      steady hours. no flexibility. worked all through COVID shutdown

      Cons

      Engineers were treated same as shop floor union employees. Had to badge in and out every time leaving the floor. Managers even tracked and commented in bathroom break frequenceis.

      Pros

      Supportive management and great place to learn. Able to work at own pace and no micromanaging.

      Cons

      When a contract it finished, they often struggle to get a new one in time, so expect a lot of downtime. Not many ways to advance your career here and pay is substantially lower than other companies for same work.

      Pros

      Both the company benefits, and the CEO, were excellent. In these two cases, I could not have asked for better.

      Cons

      Unfortunately I did not work directly for the CEO, and my direct supervisor was probably the biggest jerk I've ever worked for. An absolute dinosaur with a horrible attitude.
