Pros

Sensient is a performance driven culture, and in my experience, free of politics. The place is about integrity and results. It's also about promoting from within. The CEO routinely encourages employees to communicate what they want from their careers, and promotes the idea of people being advanced for their great work. Products are really cool and working in an international organization is fascinating. Something like 65% of the staff resides outside the USA. Customer comes first, and that is a strong and consistent message.

Cons

I've read a few of the reviews on this website. I always find it interesting when people will make generalizations, as if every one of the 30+ locations and 6 or 7 business lines (i.e., Cosmetics, Colors, Flavors) are the same. They are not and culture and management differ by location. It is also noteworthy, that Sensient has changed dramatically over the years and therefore, commentary may be true or relevant, but true and relevant many years ago. I've been here for awhile, and I've seen tremendous change, most really positive.

SNI does not stand still, always seeking to invest in it's employees, processes and company to further enhance our future. Company stability, we have employees with 10 to 40 years of employment with SNI, Amazing.

Cons

Onions and Garlic will bring tears to your eyes, very short term.
