Pros

Great benefits - health, dental, vision, plus education benefits like tuition reimbursement, and free training for certain certifications. There are opportunities for advancement and the ability to make lots of lateral movements as well, if that's your thing.

Cons

Hospital culture isn't the best - it feels a lot like being in high school. Cliques, bullies, and a weird hierarchy that doesn't exist outside of here. They love to promote equity and equality, but that's for the patients, not the workers.

Pros

The smaller hospitals feel more caring than the bigger ones.

Cons

Not much room for advancement and they are the monopoly in the area so they can set their price. They’ve recently, within the last 5 years, have cut a lot of really good benefits that would keep people.
