      Pros

      I applied for a position with Sentara because I had heard it was an excellent employer and it was true. Excellent benefits, good opportunity for advancement, comparable pay scale for the area, good working relationships.

      Sometimes there is favoritism in hiring.

      Pros

      You get help every step of the way during training. There's an open door policy always if you need to talk about any concerns you may have. Your work keep people safe and healthy. You feel like you have a real purpose because what you do help so many.

      Cons

      The only drawback i faced was sometimes having too short of a time to get an area (floor) stripped and re-coated.
