It's good to hear you enjoyed our benefits and found Sentry a good place to start a career. Many of our claims associates work from home, in the field, or in other offices around the country. We want to ensure all our associates feel valued, regardless of their location. That’s why we offer certain benefits to associates outside the Stevens Point area. Leadership who work at headquarters also make routine visits to field offices. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. Michele Dufresne – Chief Claims Officer

Pros

It's an okay temporary job for the young who are in college.

Cons

No growth within the company. Tedious and very strange/short hours for part-timers. Example, you would sometimes have to work for only 2 hours in one day to complete your part-time hours throughout the week.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m glad you’d recommend Sentry to others. For our part-time opportunities, we try to schedule at least three hours per shift, with most reaching 4-5 hours. We’re also flexible around the availability of our associates. Opportunities for advancement—especially in the claims area—are much more frequent for full-time positions. If you’re interested in moving into a full-time position or would like to discuss your shift availability, I encourage you to talk with your supervisor. Michele Dufresne – Chief Claims Officer

I’m pleased to see your positive review and I appreciate your feedback. We understand opportunities to advance your career vary depending on the department you work in, but always know that you can seek advancements in departments other than your own. We also offer a student loan program if you’re interested in furthering your education. Please reach out to your supervisor or HR representative if you’d like to discuss your opportunities.
