Pros

Great “in the trenches” team environment. I made some of my best friends for life working here.

Cons

You have to work over time just to perform. They do not pay enough for this positions and they know it and don’t seem to care

Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad to see you found a strong team environment and built lasting friendships here—that’s something we value as part of our culture. And while I’m sorry to read your assertions regarding how we value and compensate our employees, we’re constantly evaluating and refining our working environment and benefits package. It’s important to Sentry to offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package, and we continuously adjust that package to meet the needs of our associates. Thank you again for your review. Pros

The pay is decent and 8% & 401k match

Cons

Director level management conducted a recent meeting in which we were directly told they were not hiring replacement staff for recent resignations and if we didnt get on board with our workload we can quit. We were advised there was no plan to make workload more manageable, I have never been spoken to like this in my life in a professional environment. This is not all departments and there are many departments that have great leadership, mine isnt one of them. I am not allowed to leave my department because the workload is too heavy so they advised us that no one will be allowed to transfer jobs at this time. This worklaod has been going on for years it is not "temporary". There will be a month once a year with some relief (meaning more normal working hours), and it reverts right back to the same.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your experience and the challenges you’ve mentioned. We strive to maintain a positive and supportive work environment for all associates. It sounds like there may have been a miscommunication or misunderstanding. We want to assure you that we’re committed to addressing workload concerns and improving our management practices where needed, and we aren’t aware of what hiring/transfer restrictions you may be referring to. We’ll look into the messaging you reference more closely. We’re continuously reviewing our policies to ensure they align with our values and support our associates effectively. We encourage you to reach out to your department head directly or HR representative to discuss your concerns further.
