They are a very proffesional company, which give you professional experience for whatever field you go into. They also make a great resume builder

Cons

A few downsides to working at Sentry are they haven't given a end of the year bonus in 10 to 15 years.

freedom to make your own schedule, run your business your way, great place for an insurance agent to begin a career, great idea behind the way you are paid and you have an ability to grow your business from the ground up

Cons

underwriting guidelines that are not clear and consistent, very, very, very conservative company, the rules constantly changing and you don't know sometimes until the middle of the quarter what your objectives are for the current quarter, terribly strict underwriting guidelines, lack of technology, not able to offer a lot of the benefits to the customer that they would receive at most other companies
