I’m glad you’re enjoying the benefits Sentry has to offer—we’re proud we have a competitive benefits package for our associates. We also want our associates to feel like they have balance in their positions, so I’m sorry to hear that you’re struggling with your work load. We recognize we’ve been working on a large project impacting the 401(k) area and workloads have been temporarily affected. Please know the effort you and your fellow associates have been putting in are noticed and appreciated throughout the organization. I encourage you to reach out to your manager or HR representative to share your feedback and discuss areas of opportunity. Thank you for sharing your comments with us. Pros

Pay, 401K match, vacation, nice campus. Great gourmet coffee shop with fair prices. HR group takes associate concerns seriously and tries to give managers what they need to be effective leaders. IT organization is large enough to offer both horizontal and vertical movement. Many leading technologies being utilized or actively pursued.

Cons

Not many cons but workload can be exhausting. Middle mgmt seems jumpy about appearance to upper mgmt, even though upper mgmt always seems very open. Focus on timelines over quality, and related stress. Limited support for off site training/conferences. Limited laptop offerings and can't bring your own. Personal WiFi offering is unsecured/open. Cafeteria has limited hours and is expensive, especially high-caffeine cold beverages which are way overpriced.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. I’m happy you’re enjoying your time at Sentry and hope you’ll continue to enjoy the benefits we have to offer. I encourage you to share your feedback with your manager, if you haven’t already. We want to keep an open line of communication between associates, management, and executives to ensure associate feedback is heard at all levels. And as we continue to focus on associate development, please bring up external training opportunities you’re interested in with your manager, while also keeping SentryU offerings in mind. Thank you again for your feedback. Javier Sotelo – Director of Employment and Employee Relations

Pros

I received a paycheck as expected.

Cons

Training - non-existent. Management - I don't even know what to say - it was bad. They were there to tell you what you did wrong and didn't acknowledge anything that you did above the expectations.
