Pros

Sequoia is an amazing company to work for. Not only are the benefits great, but they do really care about their employees. They have been very flexible during this pandemic, and they saw how important it was to balance work and my kids education with distant learning. My son's school ran out of Chromebooks and Sequoia actually offered them specifically for distant learning! This truly is amazing and I am so grateful to work for a company that goes above and beyond for their employees and their livelihood.

Cons

I have worked for Sequoia for almost 7 years and experienced no cons.

Pros

During the extremely difficult times with schools forced to do virtual learning I couldn't feel more supported by my company! Not only are they accommodating my schedule to work remote 2X/ week but they also ordered those who need it a brand new chrome book!! The generosity of Sequoia is unmatched by any employer I have ever worked for!

Cons

Truthfully I don't have any cons with Sequoia

Pros

They had an interesting/innovative training camp in Walnut Creek, but that is the only training you will receive.

Cons

The cons here are unfortunately so many. Management is not as proactive as they would first appear to be. If you want to have a good start at this company it will truly depend upon who your manager/regional are. I was very unfortunate to have gotten the worst of the management options. They let their employees (or what was left us) suffer and barley keep our heads above water when having been asked for help on multiple occasions. I cannot imagine anything worse than having a company who will not help when you ask. Keep that in mind when you apply or accept an offer letter. You may want to make sure you research the manager, the property, do a couple of mystery calls just to make sure you will not be left on your own.

Sequoia Equities Response

Hello, Thank you for taking time to leave a review about Sequoia. I'm so sorry you did not have a good experience with us. We definitely do try our best to support all of our team members and hold all accountable to the same standards. It seems in this case, we were unable to do that to your satisfaction. I do wish you the best in your future endeavors. Thank you, Enrica
