Pros

• Quarterly bonuses • Monthly company paid days off • Extravagant company events • Incentivized rewards programs • Employee rent discount • Great benefits (401k 5% match, Kaiser, etc.) • Comprehensive industry standard training and opportunity for advancement • I like the people I work with

Cons

• 24-hour on-call rotation without standby pay • Rarely work enough to earn overtime pay • Mid-level management positions (maintenance supervisor, community manger, etc.) seem perpetually overworked and doesn’t offer many incentives, besides pay, to want to advance into such a role.

Pros

Everyone is nice, from the top of the chain to the bottom. There is no class structure here. People will greet you and introduce them self no matter their title or yours. They really care about their employees here. Lots of great benefits including quarterly bonuses for everyone working on site. They give days off called rest and recharge the purpose is to allow you to rest and recharge. This is in addition to your regular days off.

Cons

Sometimes you're treated as a team so much, that if someone else messes up, your manager states it was a team issue, as opposed to an individual issue. This can do more harm than good, because the team shouldn't suffer for one persons faults especially if the team was making every effort to succeed. Also if the manager isn't being direct to the person who continues to show issues, then they may not comprehend what issue they individually need to work on.
