Pros
The company culture is incredibly inviting. Hard work gets noticed and you truly feel appreciated. They spend a lot of time developing all staff when first hired so you feel comfortable and confident in your new role. Ample paid time off and sick time are offered. You can tell that work/life balance is important. They even give us our birthdays off and offer 3 Purpose Days a year where we can volunteer our time to a local charity or non-profit in lieu of working in the office. You get $750 a year to buy new Career Wear from approved stores/brands. They give you all the tools and communicate often to ensure all properties are performing at peak level for their residents. They expect all employees to perform at a high level, and to uphold their company pillars. Doing the right thing and being a good person is important to Sequoia. As if what was mentioned before wasn't enough, Sequoia truly goes above and beyond for their team members. Each year, the top sales performers and Elevate Award Winners are treated to a weekend trip to Vegas where they are given a beautiful room at a swanky hotel, spending cash, and swag bags. The best part is that you get to bring a loved one along to share in the fun, and are honored at a dinner with top executives and other award winners and sales producers. The Elevate Award Winners are chosen each year at our Holiday Luncheon where the company flies all team members to Northern California for the day to be together and celebrate the holiday season as one. It is Incredible. Though the interview process can be intimidating and sometimes grueling, I promise you it is worth it in the end.
Cons
Truly cannot think of anything worth noting. Sequoia is a company who constantly works to differentiate themselves from the rest so policies are always changing for the better.
