They want to treat the prospect/resident/customer the way they should be treated

That being said, Sequoia is way over the top. They bow down to the residents. Instead of supporting the staff, they pride themselves on a customer first environment. Turnover at the corporate level is just as high as the property level. They change their "motto" every 6 months. to show you how consistent they are. So many things mishandled and mismanaged on the property level in terms of procedure and budget. They also knew about mold/asbestos in a high moisture area and did band-aid jobs to fix the issues. Would never recommend this company to anyone. Pride/Ego from senior management ruined what has the potential to be a solid company.

Sequoia has a unique company culture that fosters professional growth, team building, creativity, purpose within the community and corporate support for all position levels. Each team member is provided with innovative industry tools to make leasing, managing and providing quality customer service easy. One of the best features is the wealth of training opportunities Sequoia provides. With a dedicated training department focused on providing live and web based training classes it's tough to fail at Sequoia. I always felt supported and appreciated while working with my team.

I would have liked the option to telecommute a couple times a week

Not too many apartment communities so hard to advance and get promoted.
