Pros

At the core of Server Technology is its focus on delivering the highest quality product to the customer. For me this is why I love working for Server Technology, we all want to provide the customers the best product and support. We share a common goal, new ideas of how to do things are welcomed and we have a lot of fun working together. The CEO of Server Technology understands the importance of retaining talent and puts a tremendous amount of effort into making Server Technology a great place to work. Server Technology does two large parties a year and every month we celebrate our joint successes and eat together at head quarters. In my 15 years of working at top high-tech companies Server Technology is the only one I've worked for that truly understands the importance of fun. I am very happy working at Server Technology. I look forward to being a part of helping us continue to grow. I would highly recommend to anyone that Server Technology is a great place to work.

Cons

I have put on weight since working here, the cake is really good.

Pros

The people are awesome, my manager and coworkers were all helpful, enthusiastic, and overall great to work with. The company is steadily growing and has goals that should sustain it for quite a long time. The market for their product is going to increase for the foreseeable future. There are a lot of folks that care about the product and its' progression and quality. Good benefits. Hours were reasonable though not flexible (in my position).

Cons

Firefighting was a daily occurrence. Product development is rushed, often resulting in impromptu fixes out on the production floor. "Custom" product manufacturing is a challenge that is still being worked on here. Systemic issues have been reduced but it still needs work. Server Tech is still similar to a lot of family owned shops in Reno, change is slow and cautious. Advancement is limited mainly because it’s a small company.

Pros

One of the top companies providing power distribution units for data centers. Good medical benefits. A 401k and college tuition assistance are available.

Cons

Career advancement is very limited. Salaries are a bit on the low end. Things are a bit chaotic at the end of the month.
