It's early in my tenure here but...
- Warm culture starting from the top down:
Monthly personal days for staff to refresh/participate in community service, etc.
Calendars are open and transparent
Weekly all-hands meetings highlighting people and performance updates
A fairly diverse team (still room to improve)
Clear company values that people circle back to
- Smart people everywhere (data science, engineering, customer service, sales, content).
- Growing rapidly.
- Focused vision (leadership knows exactly what problem we are solving and is pushing all teams to crush the growth strategy).
Cons
- Growing rapidly means some processes are not yet in place.
- We're all onboarding remotely, so you must take personal action to ensure you know colleagues as people, not just co-workers.
Comparable benefits, good salary, supportive and welcoming team.
People want you to grow and take ownership of the product.
Cons
People work overtime a lot, but it's not expected.
Things with product need to be fleshed out more - but this is not unusual for an early stage start up
