Pros

Sevan is a company loaded with employees of Integrity. Everyone who works here is focused on the mission and helping each other accomplish their piece of the mission. Integrity is not only our written formal core value - it is what is practiced every day by every one. We believe this is possible because we endeavor to always hire the right people, with the same personal values. Of course, every once in a while, one of our hires might decide he/she will do better in a different environment more suited for them.

Cons

While our company is relatively new, we have fast become the go-to provider for our clients. Because of that, we "might" not get as much time to fully on-board new hires. We need to remain cognizant and aware of our new hires needs.

Pros

I have been with the company for about 5 years now, and it is the best move I ever made. You do need to be self-motivated as we give our employees a lot of responsibilities & freedom and expect them to act professionally (based on their level of experience). We train our employees in various methods: face-to-face meetings, conf calls, skype meetings, client webinars, jobsite and other in-field meetings. New employees are also now getting mentors to aid in their training, from others currently fulfilling the role. Additionally there are many other opportunities for personal development training either on-line, or from an individuals interest. If you take the time to build the relationships with your coworkers and client contacts, you will really enjoy your work. Some work is in-market, and other work is out-of-market, so depending on how you like to travel, that could be a pro or a con. I have found a nice balance and I have seen the company be very open about a particular position's likely travel needs. Benefits seem to be spot on to meet my families needs. Very happy with insurance costs remaining steady over the years.

Cons

If you do not like to travel, and your job requires it, well, that would be bad. Just be honest with yourself and others and you should be okay. If you are not self-motivated, this is probably not the company for you. As you can tell, it becomes very evident within the first year. Also, if you enjoy the time around the water cooler in the morning socializing, we do not have that either. Most of our employees are home-based so you need to be proactive to call or email coworkers/managers for catching up or asking questions. But team interaction is encouraged from the companies perspective.
