Pros

Free food, Reimbursed dinner and Ubers for employees working past 8:00 pm.

Cons

The immigration department is run by the cattiest, nastiest women. They actively gossip about their own employees. Refused proper training but nitpick at every single thing. When asked to be retrained or refreshed, I was met with hostility. Clearly not interested in retaining any of their lower level employees, otherwise they’d actually invest in them. Told my caseload was fair because I had the exact number of cases as a paralegal with 6 years of experience who could clear their docket in a normal work week, while, based on my experience, I had to work over 10 hours of overtime weekly to maintain the same caseload. Luckily all these people have been moved to the firm, BAL. Hopefully the Seyfarth Boston office’s environment improves immensely with the removal of these toxic players.

Pros

Almost everyone I have worked with has been super nice and understanding

Cons

The stress of billable hours but I think that can be said for any biglaw environment
