      Pros

      Excellent comprehensive benefit package for PT and FT employees. Large nonprofit healthcare company with many locations as well as employment opportunities

      Cons

      This depends greatly on your area of specialty and department that you work in. Some positions are the best you could ask for, but another site/department may not have the greatest environment/management.

      IT Applications Division in Turmoil

      Pros

      Good work life balance - Generous PTO - Medical/Dental is Very Affordable - Challenging work with cutting edge technology. Senior leadership of the company is great and they really seem to care about the employees and making sure the company is poised for the long run.

      Cons

      Specific to the IT Applications division: Little loyalty to long time employees who seem to be seen as a liability instead of celebrated for their depth of knowledge. Most recent realignment is requiring the most senior technical staff to reapply for their jobs (with no notice and only 5 days to apply) due to the "retirement" of specific job titles - a true morale killer.
