      Lack of support for those without "MD" after your name

      Pros

      Great friends and benefits. Had planned on a long career working at Sharp until retirement. Comfortable working environment, unless working with certain providers that think they "walk on water".

      Cons

      Reached out to immediate supervisor to discuss issues that were going on in the department: Was ignored. Lack of support from immediate supervisor and upper management made me walk away from unprofessional, though not illegal situations. Never dreamed I would leave the company.

      Horrible place for African Americans to work.

      Great co workers. ..Good medical, dental and vision benefits.

      Cons

      Discriminating and Prejudice towards African Americans. A handful of African Americans in management out of 18,000 employees. There are no African American doctors or nurses in the emergency room. Quick to terminate African Americans without proper steps.

      Good Company Philosophy from the leadership, good pay, stable company with lots of growth.

      Cons

      Many people who have worked there their whole career so they have little perspectives from other employers. Very relational organization so you have to know people to get anything done.
