      Pros

      Good environment to work. Friendly People. You get enough training material and time to understand application and processes.

      Cons

      Pay is hourly so every minute count. You need to use your PTO for holidays. you need to badge in and out and keeping up with timecard is quite a challenge :)

      Pros

      Professional organization, hourly pay , good vacation time, (3 weeks to start), CME paid for one additional week, average starting hourly pay.

      Cons

      No pension, PA's are under valued in organization. Small yearly raises, despite the fact that PA's are expected to work hard and see multiple patients per day ( in excess of 20 -25 ) on an average day.

      Pros

      The hearts of the executive leadership of this company are top notch - and definitely in the right place for a non-profit company focused on providing the best patient experience. I learned so much in terms of customer experience, in addition to so much more here. I would have stayed if I hadn't moved out of the area with my family.

      Cons

      Though the benefits are very competitive I think one could probably make a bit more elsewhere. Though if you're looking for a great company and opportunity to make a difference - I don't think you'll be disappointed. Growth may be an issue depending on your speciality. I was with the organization for over a decade and received a merit increase each year - but if you're looking to climb on the corporate side I've noticed most advances come to those who leave and come back.
