Good doctors, flexible work hours.

Cons

Leadership team does not show appreciation. Writes you up without getting the whole story, preferably sides with the employees they have social events with outside of work. Constant bullying and targeting going around. Use to love sharp but now feels like a high school environment filled with clicks. I no longer feel sharp is looking out for my best Interest and growth.

Having worked for multiple companies over the course of my career, Sharp is hands down the best. The health plan is a very dynamic organization and the category is one of the greatest to be in right now. The company's mission of best place to work, practice medicine and receive care can be felt throughout all corners of the organization. It's a culture of caring and service excellence. Employees at all levels (even execs) are genuinely nice and care about one another. Its company with a lot of opportunity - both within the health plan and across all of the different entities. One of the things that I really admire is the tenure of the executives across the organization and at the health plan.... you don't find that kind of stability in many other companies these days. The health plan is also experiencing tons of growth and is working hard to adapt to a changing consumer landscape. So, being part of that is can be very exhilarating. The leadership is also very committed to truly delivering The Sharp Experience to its employees and customers. The work-life balance is also very good here and leaders really care about their employees having a life outside of the office.

Cons

Healthcare is a highly regulated industry and is always changing. This makes our jobs more challenging. But if you are up for a challenge and making a difference in people's lives in our community, this can make the job super rewarding.
