      There are opportunities to learn and grow, but are few opportunities to move around career wise.

      Cons

      You will travel a lot from plant to plant. Travel reimbursement is given, but may not satisfy.

      Pros

      Shaw really cares about their people. They put a great amount of effort into training and both career and personal development. They strive to be an innovative company, and are willing to invest in new systems and technology, despite the recent housing market crash. Owned by Warren Buffet- so it's a very stable company. Their values are "Honesty, Integrity, and Passion"- 3 great values to work for!

      Cons

      It's manufacturing- so it's not the most glamorous place to work. Salary is a little lower, and you don't get that much vacation.

      12 hour rotating shifts are hard to adjust to but the 7 days off each month are nice
