Pros

If you're in high school or in college, it's okay to work there, because chances are this a temporary job. Flexible hours, eligible for vacation time and benefits.

Cons

The pay rate is atrocious. Management is a complete joke. Workers are not treated well, especially part-time employees. Prices are too high. Hours are too low. They love to give out three hour shifts. Make you clean up other people's messes, because some of the employees are incompetent to do their own tasks. The complaints can go on and on.

-Time and a half pay on Sundays -Good company to learn the inside and out of how a supermarket is ran along with skills that can be acquired from several years of service -Decent hours if part time and flexibile -Good benefits as far as healthcare/dental

Cons

-Incompetent management -Low wages even if your highly skilled and have been there for 16 years like I have and have even hekoed other locations with grand-reopenings, with no recognition for it or how many millions of dollars I've made them since 2009. -Hypocritical critque or biased and selective employee favorites -Hard to get time off at times -Holidays and weekends all required to be worked no matter what -Extremely low staffing levels, especially in the grocery department, when this depatment accounts for more than 50% than the stores overall revenue -Mostly rude managers (Although Ive had my share of some very good ones too, that actually care about their employees -Likely possibility of being transferred if your a full time worker to a location that can be 30+ miles from your home, or more

I loved working there. I did cut fruit. It was peaceful and easy. Def a good place in the store if you love repetitive tasks.

Corporate nature of working for a big company. The training videos are tedious.
