Decent benefits. Pay rate needs to get with the times
Pros
Co workers are great. Health insurance is 70% they pay, 30% you pay so not bad. 401k is convenient, union store gets a pension when retired, employee discount is great and always offering extra discounts and free items all the time, they get us lunch and dinner for break room sometimes, they always have free drinks and usually snacks upstairs in break room, very accommodating when you need time off as long as you ask at least 2 weeks in advance,
Cons
They always screw up your pay, they keep piling work on to what you already dont have enough people to do, then take more people and don't provide more help so a few Individuals end up doing the majority of all the work plus erxtra while others call out or don't even show up so after doing 3 or 4 peoples jobs as 1 person you don't even get a thank you. All you get is criticism for trying to do a bunch of jobs while only getting paid to do 1 and dealing with the bull that should be given to the people who don't show up but they ain't there so you get it all. Extremely discouraging, draining, zero work/life balance, corporate is so out of touch with how things actually work in a store so it's kind of insane.
