Pros

Shell is generous on other benefits. There are performance bonuses and tax free allowances. The leave count is 17 VLs and 17 SLs. The coverage of HMO is high for employees and dependents. You can take leaves without worrying about impediments since colleagues can back up.

Cons

The workload per job group is not assessed well. Team contributors are paid the same with individual contributors. It could have been a better workplace also if base salary is a bit higher, and increase is fairer. - New joiner external employees are affected by current market rate and are offered higher pay. But old employees' pay are not raised to be aligned to the current market. - For internal movements, our salary always starts at the baseline. - Pay is also highly based on time of promotion. I was performing better and more outstanding than my peers. However my pay will always be lower and have a huge constant gap to those promoted earlier.
