Pros

Excellent work environment. Safety first. Managers have respect for others. Good work life balance. Excellent benefits. Very transparent. Good promotion opportunities.

Cons

As with most large companies, business decisions can often be slow. Sometimes decisions that affect North America are made from the Netherlands that may not make common sense.

Great pay Great benefits Great people Shell is dedicated to innovation and value creation. If you can find ways to create efficiencies and improve processes, you'll be supported.

Cons

Certain groups seem to be very rigid and not people oriented. Recognition for achievement is sometimes hard to come by.

Pros

Shell is one of the best employers in the market, as it offers a nice ballance between required work, compansation, and personal life. There is a very positive environment within the company, where people from various backgrounds work together under the "Shell Culture" that everyone recognises and respects. There is a great consideration for family affirs and needs, and for me, this is one of the main reasons I would like to stay with Shell. Shell has been supportive of me since day one, and in the most incedible way!

Cons

Sometimes, there is no clear ownership of decision making, which is reflected on the delays in meeting diliverables, also it reflects on individuals when a certain person's case stays on halt awaiting some "collective" decition to be made!
