      Fast pace learning environment with full support. Training and licensing assistance and expense(s) are provided through employer. Great leadership and work environment.

      It's challenging and you have to learn on the go.

      Pros

      As an employee of an independently owned Shelter agency, I found that corporate and support personnel were really nice to work with and did a good job overall. Claims personnel were great for the most part as well.

      Cons

      No HR support since each agency is independently owned, so each owner figures that out for themselves and as an employee in a very small agency I felt like there was no one to help with some concerning workplace behaviors.
