      Pros

      Many options to work at other locations or pick up shifts for experience growth. LOVED the residentials

      Cons

      The school system is terrible. The supervisor could be friends with staff that aren’t well liked or constantly getting reported on. Many great employees left due to it and they withhold the health advocate report information so you can’t anonymously report issues like a teacher being racist, gossiping in front of students, etc. Even a student reported this to supervisor and principal but the teacher returned to work the next day.

      Pros

      My supervisor was wonderful, Other therapists great and supportive. Opportunity to work with a diverse clientele

      Cons

      Pay was terrible. Had to work three jobs to make ends meet, paperwork enormous. Leadership does communicate or seem to care about us. I left when they reorganized and let my supervisor go who was an amazing mentor. Organization not well run from the top.

      Not For Faint of Heart

      Pros

      Some days were super rewarding being able to run groups and make connections with patients. Coworkers were generally supportive.

      Cons

      Management was negligent to say the least, and we were almost always severely short-staffed, leading to MANY unsafe situations on the unit. Some staff would also instigate patients and we had few ways of reporting when staff were the ones making problems for patients. Easy to burn out when you feel patients aren't actually receiving the care they need.
