Pros

My role is valuable. I enjoy counseling.

Cons

They don't provide a living wage to many of the direct care providers who work most closely with patients. They like to show appreciation to employees not through a pay raise but by giving away a bag, T-shirt or lunch. They don't provide training in cultural competence or trauma. The high quality staff leave for better opportunities elsewhere.
