Beautiful Vision with poor direction and leadership

It was rewarding working with patients and a select few of the front line staff

Cons

Management and executive nurse leadership is horrible. Staff are not valued and expected to work on others units without any training.

Great co-workers, great paid time off, a team that really works with you and is flexible, a lot of room for growth and learning, also a lot of promotions available and upward mobility. All around amazing atmosphere.

Cons

The pay could definitely be better.

Love working with adolescent psych population, meaningful work

Cons

Shift coordinators attempt to float RNs to be sole nurse and/or charge on units you have never stepped foot on (which is extremely unsafe in psych). Sometimes threaten mandating a an additional 4 hours after working 12 instead of offering incentive.
