Pros

You are properly taught things about the products you are selling. You have to pass a series of ~ 24 tests before you are considered trained, but even then you learn every day. Great customer clientele, very willing to work with your schedule, very understanding. I can see myself stay with the company at least throughout college. Oh, and starting pay is well above minimum per hour for a part timer. So, not bad for being really young with no experience really per say. Oh, and 40% off isn't bad either.

Cons

very heavy lifting at times. There are a fair amount of meeting you have to go to wherever you district headquarters are, which can be inconvenient, for me it's an hour away.

Pros

The coworkers are great, I've made a lot of friends over the past year and most everyone (in the store) helps out and does their part. The pay isn't as low as most entry level part time jobs.

Cons

Wayyy too understaffed for the work were expected to do. I'm a part timer doing crazy hours and working a ridiculous and chaotic schedule; if I need to do something personal or for school I have to schedule it off or I WILL be scheduled that day no doubt. Any management position in the store, even the assistant sits back and watches us do the work, they basically just sit back and have a great time and ring people up. For the type of physical work were expected to do, we need to be payed way more. Management has gotten cheap with hiring and only visit the stores to rearrange some shelves and intimidate us. Used to be a good corporation when I was a kid, now all they care about is profit and raising prices, which are insanely high. Try explaining to a customer why one gallon of paint is $50, and the cheapest we have is $36. I'm sick of being yelled at by customers for prices. Also, if you want to move up in the company you'll have to move to another district. No room for growth in Orlando.
