Pros

The pay is fair once you become an assistant manager or higher. Work stability. 44 hours as an assistant, 48 as a store manager. Benefits are okay.

Cons

The politics of corporate America. Hard work and having a good work ethic can only get you so far.. It then becomes a game of "it's not what you know, but rather who you know." All the stores are running pretty lean, especially the smaller stores.

Pros

The pay and benefits are good, but are replaceable. Fitness center and cafeteria. Vacation time.

Cons

It is run like the 1940s boys club, very hard if you are a women. There is no work life balance if you are a working mom. The traffic and parking are horrible in Cleveland. I don't think the company has the culture of always doing the right thing for the employees. Promotions are selective.
