      I've been working at Shield AI. for over three years now, and it's been an incredibly rewarding experience. Shield’s culture encourages open communication, teamwork, and a shared sense of purpose to it’s mission. Whether it's collaborating on a project or seeking assistance from teammates, there's always a spirit of camaraderie that makes working here a pleasure. SAI encourages employees to think creatively, embrace new ideas, and continually strive for excellence. It's inspiring to be part of a team that's always pushing boundaries and finding innovative solutions to challenges. I'm proud to be part of the team.

      Pros

      Shield is a high growth company in the right place at the right time. I have been with shield for 5 years and have experienced over 10x staff growth in this period. Our primary focus has remained practically intact while we have reinvented ourselves multiple times. We keep growing with expanding opportunity, I don't know if the next 5 years will yield another 10x in growth but we are on a good trajectory and I aim to find out. This is not the first high growth startup that I have worked for, and it is a great ride those who seek it.

      Cons

      Shield is not for all. While it offers great opportunity for growth, it requires top notch effort and commitment from its employees. This suits me well because it also means that I get to work with a bunch of really capable people.

      Pros

      Awesome culture where everyone is a team across the company. Accelerated career growth opportunities, with the chance to work with very talented individuals on unique products the company is at the forefront of. Above average compensation packages for hardware engineers.

      Cons

      Can be high pressure at times, but often results in positive experience for the individual. Some long hours, but nothing extreme.
