      - Everybody at Shield AI is highly motivated to solve complex problems. - The community is tight-knit, inviting, and focuses on professional and personal growth. - The product is bringing a radical change to the status quo and will make a significant impact on many peoples lives. - There is a focus on health and wellness. As employees, we get a discount to an incredible gym conveniently located inside the building. - The quality of leadership that exists at all levels is superb. There are top influencers across all walks of life, with backgrounds stretching from academia to Special Operations. - Lunch provided every day. - Located in beautiful San Diego.

      Cons

      - Work-life balance might be an issue for some. Fast growth can equal long days.

      - Fantastic product with tons of interesting problems to solve that will have a huge impact on saving people's lives. - Team is dedicated and intelligent. Some of the smartest and hardest working people I've ever interacted with. - Constant success and growth. The vision is incredibly ambitious and yet every month it seems a huge milestone is hit that tops the last. This is both a combination of the leadership and product development being excellent. - The leadership is comprised of former researchers and professors at Draper Labs and CMU, Navy Seals, an Admiral, and a founding CEO with an engineering background and previous successful exits. - Engineering culture values thinking long term. People care about both internal and external quality. - Friendly open culture that encourages personal growth and helping those around you. - Constant focus on doing things that truly matter, having impact, and 'always be cool'. - Main office is located in Downtown, San Diego. Beautiful weather year round, great Mexican food, and lots of craft beer. - Lunch and Dinner is provided (Did I mention the food is great?) - One of the best gyms in San Diego is located in the same building and is 50% off for employees.

      - Work life balance can be challenging because the company is growing at a very rapid pace. Always more things to do than there are people. - Environment is geared towards self-motivated people. You will thrive here if you can take ownership of things without being told. There are always people willing to help you with your task though. - Open floor plan, despite its benefits, can be distracting at times.

Learn from a team of smart, hard working, collegial people. Be early stage in a company with great potential. Free lunch, free parking, low cost gym in the building.

      Hard work and high performance is expected every day. During crunch times we put in long hours.
