      Pros

      Lots of opportunity, extensive training and the company is very nimble as well as responsive. Possess leading drone product and AI software.

      Cons

      Some of the more tenured employees seem dissatisfied and present low morale. Company is still in the very early stages and developing.

      Pros

      Shield is a product driven company obsessed with delivering transformative capabilities to the warfighter. Many companies claim this, few really mean it. In addition to having meaningful work, Shield has managed to hire an uncommon density of extremely intelligent, dedicated, and kind people. I think above all I’ve been blown away by the quality of the people here.

      Cons

      Working in defense comes with ambiguity and challenges to predictability. The pace is high but not overwhelming. The learning curve is steep - whether you come from a technical background or and operational one, rarely does anyone show up equally literate in the vernacular of autonomy/AI and that of our customer.
