Cool hospital, low respect for employees

Cutting edge hospital with incredible clinicians able to treat severe cases. Great location and beautiful building.

Cons

Management only cares about filling beds and less about quality of care. Quality goes down when employees are not paid well and treated as replaceable. Recent vacation policy change was massively unpopular. Employees who are not white are treated differently with difficulty to advance due to "favoritism".

I think it will look great on my resume as it is the #1 rated rehab hospital ! Good place to start a career and then Move On

Cons

I have colleagues who have worked here 20 plus years or more ,and I honestly don't know how they did it! Everyone is so burnt out , physicians included,and it seems to me the cms here get the short end of the stick. No work life balance, no opportunities for professional development and manager is unsupportive and unapproachable .
