      Pros

      I was at Shutterfly for four years. Great people with tons of talent and heart who enjoyed each other both professionally and socially. High quality product and the feeling of adding value to customers' lives. Lots of free product offers. Competitive salary, pretty decent benefits.

      Cons

      Poor choices by some of the new leadership in my department. Re-orgs that did not help, poorly handled layoffs without a solid plan for handling the aftermath which led to very low morale. Challenging location given how much worse traffic has become and very little flexible WFH options.

      Pros

      Great products and a company that values it's employees. Shutterfly gets it! Happy people are productive people and because they are good to me I am more committed to the success of companies goals. I feel like I am apart of something and I am on a winning team.

      Cons

      Engineering department is under staffed and it can be hard to get timely support or execution to meet our departmental goals.
