Pros

Really collaborative environment, decent pay, good managers

Cons

Shutterfly is owned by Apollo Global Management and they do NOT care about its employees. I have been employed for 20+ years and in the past 4 years they have reduced on shore staff (the people with all the business knowledge and experience) by at least half (probably more, but I do not have the metrics) and moved any job they can to Indian contractors. It's business I know, but it's not a very well thought out plan. I expect them to sell off their brands within the next 5-10 years if that.

Pros

They have great benefits for the studio manager and they unusually always work around your schedule.

Cons

They run staff on the bare minimum they must have you should always have at least two people in a studio at all times. However Shutterfly sees differently they run you on a skeleton crew as much as possible. Also the rate of pay is too low for today's times.
