Pros

Very good relationship with co-workers

Cons

Very low ethical in managers, they demand sacrifice weekdays and they fire employees without warning, and by the phone, very low ethics First day on the job there was no PC assigned to me, HR very bad organized, the laptop came after 15 days of employment They fired personal without give a chance to take personal files, and snatched the laptop without give any minutes just to remove personal files and in order to take back tools people have to pass the penumbra to detail the tool's ownership and when they returned the tool, the give back tool with damaged, No clear objectives on your position, you have to define your own objectives and goal, and create your own demos No leadership Very bad attitude of high management There's not share knowledge about cross development on team, you are developing same software as your neighbors and at the end result on creating same software with different name. Siemens has multiple PLM software that basically do the SAME

Pros

I can't seem to name any positive things about the local based company. The other regions had better management.

Cons

Terrible company where the bully gets the full scope to develop into an even better bully . There is an atmosphere of invisible hiarchie . Management and HR act as if they are blind and deaf, and they continue to play the game of innocance. Siemens PLM Software based in the Netherlands, is a company that stands for sexism, racism, abuse of power and authority and finally they are not able to achieve internally and externelly what they stand for .

Pros

Some good individual contributors. You can have a good work/life balance, but for the wrong reasons. Since other tech companies (e.g. AWS/Azure) are aggressively hiring, it's hard for Siemens to hire good people who are interested in their products. So managers are scared to fire people. You can have a good work/life balance if you realize managers are unlikely to fire competent people. Even some bad managers will back off if they think you are going to quit.

Cons

I've got 15+ years of experience total. The Siemens DISW sales/PreSales/Partner org had the highest number of incompetent and toxic people I have ever worked with. I worked with so many "experts" and "leaders" who did nothing except regurgitated PowerPoints and understood nothing. A lot of the long term (10+) years DISW employees I worked with (Solutions Architects, Managers, and VPs) were grossly incompetent and bullies. This is because bullying and talking over people was the only way they could cover up their incompetence. These people would be unemployable outside of Siemens DISW, but because of their relationships in DISW nobody would fire them.
