Pros

There's nothing positive I have to say about this place.

Cons

Lack of regional leadership. HQ controls everything. They have a challenge recruiting and keeping talent. The workload is ridiculous and the work-life balance nonexistent.

Pros

My coworkers are why I'm still there. The medical benefits and 401k match is similar to most companies.

Cons

Management does not focus on customers or employees. Company direction is solely on the stock holders. This is evident since the loss of half of the branch resigning due to poor management. You would think that someone sitting in a corporate office would make the decision to pull the plug on this management staff.

Pros

The salary is good, health benefits are just OK.

Cons

They bought our Dresser-Rand plant, promised to grow the business, and are now closing it- all in less than three years. Only profitable location they have in North America doing industrial steam turbine manufacture, we are the oldest continually operating manufacturing facility west of the Mississippi, 150 year legacy of profit for our owners, and they couldn't make it work for three years.
