      Worst supervisor in my career with Siemens for over 17 years

      Opportunity to learn new processes as well as skillset which require for assignment.

      Cons

      Worst experiences to work for a supervisor who has been "Micro-Managing" assignments; his management style created a big stress on the job. Each assignment should be done his way or highway...!!! My office location was in Florham Park, NJ since Sep. 2004 thru Nov. 2021 and reported to a supervisor (initial: AS) in Buffalo Grove, IL (Jan. 2020 thru Nov. 2021).

      Kicked to the curb after serving 10 years of my life for Siemens.

      Pros

      On occasion, working with some really smart minds in the electrical field. Rare but on occasion for sure.

      Cons

      This position began with hopes and wild dreams of getting work in our local metroplex. This was a complete failure because the factory and field groups are different cost centers so there is no incentive for either group to work with each other. Its a gross and disgusting structure system. “Utilization” expectations are ALL put on the employees shoulders with a nonexistent and poor sales group. Poor management. No planning, and expectations to travel outside of an already expansive territory. You are essentially a body and are expected to travel nationwide when their lack of sales fail in the local area. Management WILL fabricate a lie to eliminate you from the company when they feel they no longer want you around even though you are there senior specialist and the most experienced tech. There is no growth in this group. The compensation is poor and below market standards.
