Pros

Centrally located in Omaha, NE

Cons

They state they are flexible and are to some extent but when it comes down to family needs or personal life events that require you to take time off, it’s difficult to a lot. They’ve grown so much in the last 3 years that employee values have went significantly down. You’re just a number. They use to be so personable and family oriented and not they just don’t care about anything but making themselves look good to the VA so they can get their contract renewed. Speaking of contract, your position is not guaranteed and is re-evaluated every other year. It’s typical to be on 8 hours of mandatory OT 9 months of the year. Holiday leave or vacation? Good luck getting it approved. They tested work at home position for it to not to be fair and to have that carrot over your head and threatened to bring you back to the office at every little thing you did or to get you to do what they want. Opportunity to move up within the company? Again, good luck. They have in the past had a requirement to have to be in certain roles for a year to only go to hire people with 3/4 months at the company for a manager position. Which naturally, is a disaster. They have 4 different offices so it’s hard to even get to know important people or relate to anyone within the company due to certain managers and office buildings being so different. The senior managers like Nichole, Cornella, Todd, Ben V are great. The majority of the rest have no clue what they are doing or how to be a a manager. Pay is decent but not consistent. They have taken any chance to get a monthly incentive away and it has been apparent for a year now that it was going to happen. Benefits are ridiculous. A normal living family would never be able to afford any health insurance provided. For the last 3 years we were told they were lowering it, just for it to never happen and even go up.

Pros

Company is great about not micromanaging. It is a relaxed environment with potential to grow Unlimited overtime Work/life balance Culture is amazing

Cons

Benefits are expensive but honestly a health incentive is given which covers the cost. Job repetitive which gets boring but not a big deal Long calls (Providers can call with unlimited claims which is overwhelming at times)
