Pros

The only reason to work full time for this company are the health benefits. If you plan on getting married, get a part time job for the discount. Buy an engagement ring, then quit.

Cons

Co workers are back stabbers. Management gossiped about sales people on their days off. Management overlooked behavior of sales people, and allowed unethical practices. No behavior management of unprofessional adults. If you love jewelry you will soon be be disgusted by their aesthetically inferior products. You will also detest how people are treated from the diamond mines to the sales counter. Diamond luster seems to bring out the worst in people just so they can make a buck. In the case of Sterling it's .5% commission.

Pros

Exceptional Training as well as mentoring new employees towards a successful transition into the work place.

Cons

There where no considerations of a negative side for working with the best team at Sterling Jewelers. I would love to be considered as a returning former employee if an opportunity where ever to arise. call me!

Pros

Discount is fantastic. 99.9% of customers are happy and enjoyable to work with Environment depends 100% on your DM, your Manager and Sales Team. You have six standards to meet with each customer, if you can meet those you will do well Excellent training system, wealth of knowledge you can gain if you want to learn it

Cons

Team members who don't like the job and aren't committed to the job bring the team way down with negativity. Low starting pay, low commission and commission ranges from 1/2 % to 3%, the only way to move from 1/2 to 3% is by entire team making store goals so you have to have a good team or hang it up.
